Support Question (File Hoster)

Hello all! :)

I am using "HandBrake 1.8.2" (Windows).

So ... i already converted a couple of "small" videos. Mostly up to 2 minutes only.

But now the problem:

Some of the small videos i would like to convert [to FULLHD] (about 1920x1080) are "buggy".

I would like to upload the small files (about 20 - 30 MB) somewhere, so the people could check what is wrong.

Which hoster (maybe OCH) is suited here and recommended?

Thanks in advance! :)

Yeah i know the log procedure already. Thanks anyways. :)

But can i upload a 20-30MB Video file somewhere and link it to this forum?

The hoster for files is up to you; if it is accessible to who you want to look at the file.

But it is difficult to make judgments on what is happening to a file just by uploading it, if you cannot describe the issue, and provide the log for your encode. Sometimes, the issue is what parameters you chose, other times it's an incompatibility in the software.

@ Woodstock:

I would of course share all the needed data (e.g. log) of course aswell. :)

The point is we might not need the files once we see the logs.

Usually people upload their logs, then the actual files if needed.

Code: Select all

[12:22:43] + source: 384 * 272, crop (0/0/0/0): 384 * 272, scale: 1536 * 1088
Good luck with that.

@ mduell:

Eh ... i did it already with couple of other videos with the same specifications. They are all fine so far. Only a few are "out of order"
Hmm

Unfortunately I don’t download random files from the internet.

Any chance you could describe the problem?

So i think it's far better to watch the problem directly compared to describing hardly what is wrong.

Thanks anyways

Maybe someone could check the both files (original / converted).
I don't know how to describe, except of "buggy"...

I can't speak for others, but I am VERY careful when it comes to following links and downloading files from randos on forums. If you want a wider audience to attempt to address your problem, you should do your best to describe your problem in as much detail as you can.

Well this is the ZIP Content: https://i.imgur.com/lZIuTiT.png

OK, i try (hard):

One of the negative effects after converting is that, it seems frames are missing in some "chaotic" way.

Well,
For the ones who are curious what i do with Handbrake:

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... Zp_3-SpnrZ

Nothing more, just converting old intros for the Commodore 64 to FullHD movie clips.

@ Woodstock:

Could you do me a favour and test the small video files please?

Well, i try it again:

LOG:
https://privatebin.net/?4bd9798a968b4d7 ... nwQHgSfHgf

YOUTUBE:
"cd-03_SOURCE.avi" :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62SJGFLB4u4
(This is the Source File)

"cd-03_CONVERTED.mp4" :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFR_4r7GCug
(This is the Converted File)

Now you can see what happens. I already made some converts of "similar" files, without any problems. But a few make problems, like this file for example.

Try turning all filters off on the preset you are using. With them all off this is the result
