Subtitles on multiple video files in queue

Post by bubbascant »

Description of problem or question:

I have tried reading forum and google searches but I have been unsuccessful in getting to the outcome I'm hoping for. I've tried creating and saving a New Preset but it will only work on one file.

Here's what I want to do:

1. I add several video files (MKV format).
2. I add them to the queue (add all to the queue)
3. I am trying to put the subtitles on them so it will work for a number of files I'm encoding to MP4 but, even though I place the subtitle settings on (and I've tried every combination I can think of), it will only put the subtitles on the first video but not the others.

What am I missing? How can I add multiple video files and have subtitles applied to each without having to do each video individually, which is quite tedious and unnecessary.

If there is a forum post containing this information and has been proven to work, please let me know.

Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):

HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):

1.7.2 (2023122400)

Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):

HandBrake Activity Log ***required*** (see How-to get an activity log)

Code: Select all

Please replace this text with the contents of your log file between the two code tags - OR - provide a pastebin URL in place of these 3 lines.

Save a preset with the subtitle behavior you want, then use that preset for all the files.
