Description of problem or question:
What is missing in order to hardware encode AV1 in Handbrake using fresh install of Ubuntu LTS 22.04.3?
6+ weeks and no closer to get it to work. Tried it on Windows 11 and it worked out of the box.
Hardware
Ryzen 3900X
32GB Ram
Intel Arc A380 on top PCIe slot, no other cards installed.
BIOS has Resize BAR activated.
HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):
Handbrake 1.7.2 Flatpak
Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):
Ubuntu 22.04.3

Make sure you have the flatpak Quicksync plugin installed (downloaded from handbrake.fr, not flathub)

Installed Quicksync plugin and got a hole lot more on activity log
