I mean the voice of a person is like an echo or sounds disorder.

Just pass through the audio so it will not change.

Ok rollin_eng thanks, so under summary tab does it matter if its Format is mp4 or mkv?
then check off Passthru Common Metadata
Is that correct ?

No, in the audio tab select pass through for the audio.

Does the echo exist on the original tape or capture? Because if the original was filmed in a church, it might just be the natural reverb of the environment? I don’t know. First thing I thought of.

Ok Rollen_Eng, I'm sorry but if I go to the audio tab and go to codec there are many pass thur. Which one is it? Should I just choose auto passthru?

Hi Longless

You were correct I had another audio channel in my audio mixer in OBS. Now I just have the Elgato cap video as my audio. Nothing else. Now I don't hear the echo anymore.

Thank you for taking your time and hearing my problem. Thank you I really appreciate your advise.

I don't see anything in the audio interface that references "pass through" - can you be more specific on where to find this in the audio tab?

To be more specific, I have a 4K video with 16-channel sound, but when I convert it to 1080p/stereo it sounds echoey - like the audio for the main speaker of the event has like three or four versions of his voice at different volume levels and delays. The pass through option does not appear for me in the audio tab's Codec pop-up menu for the one audio file it shows. Not sure what to do to get a usable sound.
