Target :
From mkv video file (blu ray ripp) to h265 and/or AV1 video file

Hardware available :
ASrock z690 pro, 16 gb
Intel i 13500 CPU
Geforce gtx 1060 SC 6gb
And/or
ARC A770 LE 16gb
SATA SSD 2TB Samsung 860evo + SSD1TB Samsung 860


Software :
Windows 10 pro latest
Handbrake, latest version

Question :

Which Graphic card should I use for fastest result with balanced quality?
Which is the fastest/best quality video file I can get with nvenc or Quicksync?

Depends on resolution and bitrate limitations.

Max 1920 x 1080 p
No Bitrate limitation.

I just have a look on the videos I encode these days, they are all between 1200 and max 7000, but I don't give them the limits, the limits are given from Handbrake.

The best quality you can get with no bitrate limitation is whatever the max bitrate of the encoder is, somewhere around 99999...

Yes, may be, but in my videos are they as mentioned.

I think , I will use the ARC, as you suggested beffore.
