Auto-Name-Template: {creation-date}_{creation-time} not working with multiple files in queue

Post by piotrv »

Description of problem or question:

The Auto-Name Template

Code: Select all

{creation-date}_{creation-time}
within Auto-File Naming is not applied when selecting a folder with multiple files.
The Auto-Name Template {creation-date}_{creation-time} is only applied when selected a single file as source

Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):

Open Source | <select folder and Open>
Preferences | General | < automatic-naming box ticked>
Auto-Name-Template: {creation-date}_{creation-time}_TEST
Queue | Add Multiple| <Select All box ticked>
Duplicate destination files detected
The reason is that all destination filenames in the queue get the current date-time and not the creation date-time and not as specifid in the Auto-Name-Template and are therefore the same and result in the system response above.
I consider this a bug.

HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):
1.6.1 (x86_64)
ghb --gst-version
GStreamer Core Library version 1.22.0

Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):
PRETTY_NAME="Manjaro Linux"
ID_LIKE=arch
BUILD_ID=rolling
