NVIDIA and AMD GPU support
Do you have any plans to add hardware GPU support to H.264 codec?

Re: NVIDIA and AMD GPU support
Does it have the same quality as CPU coding?

You can get good quality but it usually comes at the expense of file size.

So does CPU re-ecoding gives the same quality but less size?

Yes it can.

Re: NVIDIA and AMD GPU support
Have anyone tested the quality? For example if I decode on CPU, I sue CQ 18. What would give the same quality on GPU?

Re: NVIDIA and AMD GPU support
I have been using 1.2.2 for a LONG time because it encodes with Nvidia at over 400 FPS average. The latest version, 1.6.1 struggles to get to 200 FPS. I don't really know if this is a setting or what. I have tried adjusting the speed slider on the "VIDEO" page, but even at "Fastest" it's only a little ove 200 FPS. Windows 11, Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050.

But what about using AMD VCE? Wht quality is equal to CQ 18 CPU encoding?
