MacOS - reduce Priority Level

Post by arnold2 »

Using the Additional Options table in HandBrake 1.5.1, I have added the code to set the number of processor threads - :threads=4. This reduces the processor usage on my MacBook Pro.

Is there a code for reducing the processor priority in the the Additional Options table

(as can be set in the Windows version), (as here: ... e-windows/).

I can manually go in an change the renice number in Terminal, but that's a pain to do for every new encode.
