Select the original file. Select one of the presets that encodes to 1024 resolution. Click start.

There is a lot more you can do, but that's the basics of "do what I ask you to do."

Using HB version 1.5.1

Under preset: scroll down to Hardware and select H.265 NVENC 1080p. Then click the Filters tab, and all the way at the bottom you should see Colourspace. Set that to BT.709. Set your other settings like auto crop under Dimensions tab, and audio, subtitles things like that. The encode should be slow. With my 5800X and 3070ti it's like 20 to 30 fps. But it outputs a SDR 1080p conversion.

A part of the Colourspace filter is now multi-threaded in the current code. The next snapshot that will be out in a few days should give better performance.
