Hi ladies and gents.
I am having a hard time finding benchmarks of handbrake 1.5.1.
What I want to know is how much faster it might be encoding h.264 and h.265 on the latest Ryzen models (5600, etc.) compared to older generations from a few years ago (2600, my model) while using the latest Handbrake.
Can you please point me to a webpage or video showing me the performance improvements so I can decide whether upgrading is worthwhile? Or is it better to spend on the graphic card? I would love to see at least 50% performance improvement in Handbrake 1.5.1 from my current Ryzen 2600 set-up and would like to know how much that might cost.
Thank you.

Might be worth looking there and maybe post your logs so we can see what settings you use.

It's going to depend a fair bit on your source resolution, filters, and encoder settings.
Comparing a 2600 to a 5600X, you can indeed get ~50% improvement in HB: https://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/2692?vs=2676
