Description of problem or question:
Does anyone know if the Matrox MCHD CompressHD Professional Encoding Accelerator Card w/ Max 63039622215 is compatible with Handbrake?
I'm looking to reduce the encoding time for H.264 videos on my decade old Opteron 4184 server. I've read that this card may be the perfect solution, but want to make sure someones tried or has knowledge on this card before I buy one.

Re: Handbrake and Matrox H.264 Accelerator Card
No.
The only drop-in encoding accelerators supported are nVidia and AMD cards. And they come attached to a GPU so they're not cheap these days.
