NVEnc doesn't work with Linux, it works fine on the Windows 10 SSD, but on the Linux SSD Mint 20.3 Cinnamon, even though it's selected, it's not working which is obvious with how it is jamming all 8 threads of the CPU at 100% and not using the NVEnc at all. What's the problem with Handbrake? It works great on Windows and uses the NVEnc perfectly, but with all the same hardware it fails on Linux.
Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):
HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):
1.5.1
Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):
Linux Mint 20.3 Cinnamon
HandBrake Activity Log ***required*** (see How-to get an activity log)
Code: Select all
Not on the Linux SSD so I can't see it unless I'm on that one. I've tried it on two different capable machines, same results, the problem is not on my end. Not really a support request, please fix your software to work properly with Linux.
