Hi
After reading the online documentation and scouring the forums I'm still a bit confused as to which version of "VideoToolbox" produces the higher quality (in general terms, understanding specific titles may vary, etc., etc.). Is the menu entry "VideoToolbox" an 8 bit encoder or a 12 bit encoder? The 10-bit is clearly labeled but I can't be sure whether the one without the bit specificity is 8 or 12? I'm running on a new MBP M1 Max so encoding time is not an issue with either so I want to default to the better and having run some files in both I'm just not sure (maybe my eyes not as good as they used to be?)
Any clarifications greatly appreciated...

No bit depth in the name means 8-bit.
