I have several movies in 2160p and I want to compress them to 1080p and 1000kbps (1mb). What would be the best configuration?
I know that a lot of information or quality is lost with so few kbps, but I want to try it.
Compress at 1000kbps (best setting)?

Start with the Fast 1080p30 preset
Change the encoder to x265
Change the encoder preset to veryslow
Choose a bitrate target and enter 1000
Change the encoder to x265
