FILE NAMING: use the last edit date...

Post by Skyfinder84 »

Hi,

I need to convert a lot of action files named as DSC####, the problem is the creation time is recent, due to a transfer to a new hard drive (aka 1/1/2022) BUT those file have older and different creation data (such as 9/8/2017).

Those file creation dates and times are very important for me (old travel video) and I'm wondering if is possible to find the right placeholder for the desired NAMING.

I tried:
{encoded_date}
{encoded_time}
{creation_date}

Nothing.

Tried also to play with these placeholder taken from MEdia Infon HTML info, advanced m9ode:
File last modification date : UTC 2017-08-09 00:27:24.000
File last modification date (local) : 2017-08-09 01:27:24.000

But nothing that works, the naming or gives the recent moving date or a text. I THINK that should be a good improvement because a lot of low-level camera name files as DSC0001 of FHD001 and so on. Only my old smartphone used to save files with the creation data/time in the file name.
