Does Handbrake not support recursing through folders for batch encodes?

Post by Durendal »

I'm trying to use Handbrake to encode a vast swath of video files. Many of these are broken down into numerous folders within folders. I'd like to have Handbrake simply scan the root directory, recurse through the folders, grab all video files within them, and let me run a single batch that will preserve the file/folder structure at the output destination. It does not appear that Handbrake can do this and I'm a bit baffled by that. I can't imagine that this is a crazy edge case.

No, it does not. You can create scripts to do this with the Command Line Interface, though.
