HandBrake

HB is able to read from a network source, however, when writing back to that source it fails the encodes. The source has full write permissions and files can be copied/moved/edited/deleted etc to the source but HB fails the encodes. Is this a common issue?

Without logs, we cannot know what the problem is, so "is it a common issue?" is a worthless question.

I read and write to network locations with handbrake all the time - my raw video workspace is on the same NAS that the finished files are loaded to.

Give us some logs, and maybe we can figure out why your system doesn't accept your choices.
