Using 'Send To file' under Done - need doc

Post by BrianKitt »

Description of problem or question:
This does not seem to be documented at all. I created a script, and attached it under 'Sent To File' (Preferences->General->When Done).
I can see that the first argument passed is the output filename.

What else can I get? I would also like the source name. I would like to delete the source after compression is complete. I tried {source} thinking that I could use the same standard as 'Output Name', but that doesn't work. How would I do this?

There are no options for it. You get the destination path only.

It's something I've been thinking about extending for a future release so let me know what your thinking and it may become part of 1.4

source was already on the list of possibilities.

The main thing I would want is source. I'm not sure what else would be of use.

Maybe a flag to indicate success or failure? If failure, maybe the type of failure?
