What else do you folks need to help me run Handbrake 1.5.1 as a foreground process? I have installed, rebooted, uninstalled, rebooted, re-installed. And older version (sorry, I didn't note the version number...I installed it last fall) ran fine. I have cleaned up my machine with Restoro and CCleaner, both. (Did find several registry issues and repaired them.)

Is there a problem with using the nightly?

So why do you need 1.5.1?

High Probability that it's a bust graphics drivers. I've been trying to "work around" it by experimenting with nightly builds. Might be worth updating the drivers and see if it helps.

Nightly should be reasonably stable so no harm in sticking with that though.
