Startup error

Everytime I try to open the executable from the downloads section I get an error message:

Any idea why?

Comp specs:
Windows XP Pro SP2
1.6 Pentium M, 512 MB Ram
ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 128 MB

Download that file and put it in the directory you have the exe.


I'll repackage the cli tonight with that file so others don't run into the same problem

Careful with this - if they have a legitimate Cygwin installation later at a newer version and load a service on boot, HandBrake will refuse to run at all until they delete the library from its folder.

You may wish to consider simply making installation of the absolute base of Cygwin a requirement until we can get the mingw build compiling cleanly. Bundling the library has caused other applications a lot of grief down the road.

That all having been said - if you think it's better to package them together, just overwrite the file that's already on the FTP and it will re-propagate.
