Hanbrake CLI newbie

Post by kubmg »

Can someone step me through how to use the CLI on a MAC? I want to try it out but I have no idea how to use it. I click on the HandbrakeCLI and all I get is this:

Last login: Sat Sep 12 17:56:35 on ttys000
/HandBrake/HandBrakeCLI ; exit;
imac:~ name$ /HandBrake/HandBrakeCLI ; exit;
Missing input device. Run /HandBrake/HandBrakeCLI --help for syntax.
logout

[Process completed]

Terminal doesn't do anything past this ...

First, you need to open Terminal manually then cd to the directory where you've downloaded HandBrakeCLI and run it with the command "./HandBrakeCLI <options>".

Moving to CLI, as this isn't a feature request.
