Audio has a "cardboard tube" effect, how to fix?

Post by Shawn »

I keep getting a "cardboard tube" effect whenever I try using HandBrake to convert a .flv file. I'm using the default settings it loads when I load up the .flv file. I attached the log, as well as both the original .flv file and the converted one to show the audio issue.

Yes.

I suspect the issue is that your source is very low frequency mono AAC being upscaled to high-frequency, but I'm not certain whether that represents an issue with ffmpeg's input filter or HandBrake itself. Hopefully a dev more familiar with that stream will chime in.
