Stack Dump ripping Thirteen Days

Okay, before anyone jumps my stuff : I've done searches on this and am aware that similar errors have arose and that research is probably under way. I've downloaded the re-compilied version that sr55 put together, yet I'm still having the issue.

So you know, I'm trying to rip Thirteen Days with the following settings:

Width/Height - 720x480
Video BitRate - 3000
2-Pass Encoding - On
Video Framework - Default
Video Encoder - H.264
Audio Encoder - AAC
Audio Bitrate - 128
Audio Sample Rate - 48000
No. Processors - 2
DVD Title 1
All DVD Chapters

I'm running a WinXP (Version 2002, SP2) machine with a AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+ 2.0Ghz, with 2GB of DDR. I'm running the 0.8 Version, Build 2.1 of Handbrake, using the Windows GUI.

Basically your stuffed. Preventing these stackdumps is beyond the knowledge of anyone on the team. We have no CYGWIN enviroment experts around.

All you can do is try various different pieces of software to feed the DvD to handbrake. e.g AnyDVD (best),DVD43 if those fails, Ripit4me, Dvd shrink are both free.

I suspect its just malformed dvd data thats causing handbrake to do something CYGWIN doesnt support and hence causes it to crash. Try the different dvd decryptors above, you might get lucky.

Yeah, it's really weird....I'm using AnyDVD versoin 6.1.3.3 (latest)....sometimes various stack dumps will occur on the machine I listed above, yet work fine on my laptop. With regards to handbrake and any dvd, I run the same version. OS's are the same as well...but the laptop isn't an AMD processor, its an Intel. its just frickin' weird.
