Can I get more volume on my ipod with movies?

Post by aietacole »

When I rep movies from DVDs to my ipod, using the ipod pre-set, the movie volume is not high enough to listen to on the plane. Podcasts or movies from itunes work fine. I have tried increasing DCR to 4, but no help. I am not sure if making other changes will increase the movie volume. I don't need 5.1 surround or anything like that, just louder audio for plane rides. My next step will be noise canceling headphones. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Or, on iTunes, right-click on your movie on iTunes, go to Get Info, then click under options, and under volume adjustment set to +100% assuming you haven't already. The movie will also be 100% louder on your iPod as well, I have done it.
