No picture where ads are cut fron EyeTV source

Post by katweazl »

Hi Guys,

I have a problem where the picture is dropping out where the ads have been cut from a EyeTV source. Audio remains but the picture goes for a bunch of time and then comes back. This happens a few times through the movie...but not every time the ads have been cut.

Is there any way I can get around this?

Activity Log below...thanks

Did you export (i.e. save) the video with EyeTV, using "MPEG Program Stream"?

No, actually I thought this could be the cause of the problem. I've experienced a similar issue when using EyeTV's Export as MPEG Program Stream functionality : the exported files were a few MB smaller than the recordings were reported in the EyeTV library, and missed a few seconds of video just before/after a point where an ad had been cut.

If you haven't used it, then it must be something else…
