I was able to rip 10,000 BC perfectly fine with HB .9.2 using MacOS 10.5 on a MacbookPro, what is happening when trying to rip, etc?

All of these movies should work using Handbrake .9.2 for MacOS, the 2 non working are at the bottom with workarounds.

Yeah, with kids, etc now I decided to convert everything digital as they like to destroy anything they can touch, I am not even half way done with our collection of movies and I will just keep updating the last post as I continue. I am almost tempted to create a separate post and just update/modify it with my list and the collection of other posts so people dont have to dig to find answers. Thus ending the need of repeated retarded posts and or questions about the same thing over and over again. To bad I dont have power to delete retarded posts that waste peoples time. =)

These ripped fine with MacTheRipper, but Handbrake created non-working .m4v files (and never reported "finished"). Also tried the complete rip-and-encode to h.264 all in HB, with the same result.

Pride & Prejudice (BBC miniseries, 10th Anniv. Edition)
Seven Samurai (Criterion)

Handbrake crashes while loading the discs and so does Mac The Ripper...I am out of ideas as how to go about encoding these discs

Shrek II
Titan AE
Mulan

All 3 cause HB to crash before they even scan the disc to give you options. ?

Try using MTR 2.6.6 with ArcoSS rip and then try using HB on Leatherheads.

Having trouble with Speed Racer. So far I have burned everything but the first part (maybe 20 minutes) but it won't get the first part. Used MacTheRipper for the initial rip, and it had some "dummy VOB" which I chose the pod VOB option. Not sure how to get around this issue.

I was trying to convert the Full Metal Alchemist movie, conqueror of shambala, to ipod touch/iphone format and every time it tried to scan the 9 files, it would crash. I used it for another dvd, and it was fine, and am using it for another now, but shambala won't work, please help. thank you!!

The Forgotten

Now here's an interesting one. The full theatrical movie will rip, but HB also gives the option to rip the alternate ending one (which is a full 3min longer). The alternate ending won't rip completely. It gets to the junction at where the alternate ending starts, and moves right into the credits. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this and if there's a workaround for this. Thanks.

Heroes, Season 2 (tested w/ 0.9.2)

HandBrake tells me that the encode is done seconds after the encoding process has started, resulting in a blank file. However, everything works fine when ripping from Title Specific.

Also, does anyone have a work around for the "defect" discs in The Simpsons, Season 10 yet? Both HB and MTR crashes every time I try to read them.

Which version of MTR did you use?? Did you try doing an ArcoSS rip or just a normal rip?

I found out I only have Season 3, which discs are you having issues with, all or certain discs? I am going to pick up Season 4 from the store if they have it in. In the meantime let me know which discs you are having issues with.

Reason: Goddamnit how difficult is it to follow directions and use code blocks? Thank you for making us waste time scrolling.

I found out I only have Season 3, which discs are you having issues with, all or certain discs? I am going to pick up Season 4 from the store if they have it in. In the meantime let me know which discs you are having issues with.
I am having an issue with all the discs, not sure if it's an isolated copy issue or a zero cell, but i can't get handbrake to scan the disc or even MacTheRipper....but i've never dealt with a TV show that had a zero cell, just movies!!! :-(

DId you try the latest test build of HB or the downloaded one?? Try using the newest test build and post your results.

I used the downloaded one. Where do I get the test builds?
