Multiple Titles in CLI

Post by PyrO_PrOf »

Hey Folks,

I have searched high and low in this forums (and others) and still cant seem to find an answer to this. I have ripped a DVD of FireFly to my HardDrive, which presents itself as a series of .VOB files When I use:

Code: Select all

 -t 0
I get:

Which detects that there are 4 titles, all of which are episodes on the DVD. I want to encode each title but when i try to select a title with:

Code: Select all

-t 2
I get this output:

HandBrake has exited.
Basically I just want to be able to encode each title (which in this case corresponds to an episode) to its own file.

Can Anyone help? The GUI Client also detects all four titles but only allows me to select one. Hopefully I have everything thats required by the rules here, and I cant find anything in the Documentation to help.

Looks to me like whatever tool you used to decrypt the disc did a very poor job. Looks like you tried to grab only the main feature (of a tv show with multiple episodes? why?) and then it didn't even bother to rewrite the IFO file to reflect the changes to the file structure.

I used Mac The Ripper....

I'm used to ripping only movies so this is completely new to me.
Should i be ripping the entire disc and then encoding with handbrake?

Ripped the whole disc and it works fine now! Thanks so much!!

The script at the bottom here I wrote to do just this (one-stop script that encodes all episodes on several discs).
