Handbrake in MacBook Air Review...

Post by sbalthazor »

MacWorld just posted their review of the new Macbook Air and have included a column in their performance tests for Handbrake doing an H.264 encode (and another shout out for Handbrake in the article itself). I checked the past few reviews and it looks like this is the first time they've included that test. Interesting to see that in their runs the MacBook runs faster than the MacBook Pro (although they don't say how they ran the test).

Kind of cool to see it as part of their standard performance test suite!

Nah, they made it part of their standard benchmarking suite last fall:

Sure would be nice if they said what settings they were using...
