Hi.
I am migrating from one windows system [Windows 10] to a new one [Windows 11]. Is it possible to export my settings from one system and import them into another?
Thanks

Re: Exporting settings
All settings and presets are stored in C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\HandBrake which can be copied to a new machine as long as the version is the same.
Re: Exporting settings
Type %appdata% into the Start menu or the address bar in file explorer and press enter. You will be taken directly to the roaming folder of whoever you are logged in as. Just copy the HandBrake folder to wherever you want to back it up to.
To restore the backed up settings, just return to the roaming folder as above and copy the HandBrake folder there.
I always keep backups of my settings this way whenever I upgrade to another version of HandBrake. Not only does this give me peace of mind knowing my settings are regularly backed up, it makes rolling back to previous versions a breeze if I need to.

Re: Exporting settings
It's possible to export and import presets and presets folders inside the app too. Open the presets list and check the options.
