Why does the file name being searched for have a single quote character embedded in it?

the date of the file. september 2024

it is to be noted that 1/3 of the files were encoded out of 198 files. the rest of them failed

Can you please post a log of a successful encode.

As rollin states, a log for a successful encode would be helpful, at least to compare the file name attempted.

You are getting warnings that the ones with the ' character embedded in the name can't be found, and that would be an unusual character to find JUST ONE OF in a file name, unless it was part of a word, like "can't". Some operating systems will enclose the entire file name in double-quotes when there are "other quotes" within them.

Is that external disk still connected to the computer?
