This app is the best
How is this free, open source encoder better than ALL of the big boys I have ever used? It's better than Compressor, Adobe Media Encoder, Davinci Resolve's export, EVERYTHING. When I need encodes to be small but look good, this is always my go to.

Mostly standing on the shoulders of giants, the video encoders themselves, plus lavc/lavf to support so many input options.
