Recording 4K home movies onto Blu Ray

Post by Kong84 »

Description of problem or question:
Hi there, I have bought a Sony AX43 camcorder and recording 4K home movies that I would like to record onto Blu Ray as 4K video and play on my UHD Blu Ray player.

Source video: 4K XAVC
Source bitrate: 100 mbps
Source audio: Linear PCM 2 channel
Source codec: H.264
Source frames per second: 25

I would like to maintain the quality of the 100mpbs bitrate if I can, whilst not taking too long to encode eg 10 mins for a 1 min video will be fine.

Any suggestions of which presets or settings to use much appreciated!

HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):
Latest Mac version, downloaded yesterday.

Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):
Mac OS Sonoma
