Hi,
I am new to video editing and I don't even know the correct terms to check what the issue is.
I have a bunch of .mp4 files in UHD/4K for mat which I created using DaVinci Resolve. The video contains scrolling titles, fusion effects, etc.
When I tried to reduce the video resolution to FHD using HandBrake, the actual video is compressed fine but the scrolling texts and titles don't
seem to get scaled down so appear larger relative to the video versus the original version.
I know that I can just re-export my DaVinci Resolve projects at FHD resolution but I would like to understand why this is the case.
I don't understand how on screen texts and effects are added to the video (layers?) so I don't know where to start to resolve my issues.
How can I compress my video including the on scree texts/effects?
Thanks.
