Description of problem or question:
Is it possible to use the Raspberry Pi 4's hardware x264 encoder? I can get ffmpeg to work using h264_v4l2m2m library, but i cant seem to figure out how to tell handbrake to use this specific x264 encoder
HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):
1.3.1 (newest available in apt)
Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):
Raspbian 11 bullseye 64 bit
Also tried ubuntu (newest on pi imager.. cant remember specific number)

Re: raspberry pi 4's hardware encoder
h264, not x264
You don't. The hardware on the PI is not supported in HandBrake. We don't officially support ARM on linux either although it (mostly, but not fully) seems to unofficially work.
Lastly, in the more bad news department, the official debian / ubuntu builds of HandBrake are on our ban list as they are built incorrectly and have significant breaks in functionality as a result.
