testing BBBunny with preset: H.265 QSV 1080p - is not OK
Job Failed to Initialise. Check log and input settings (3)
same test without QSV is ok - preset: Very Fast 1080p30

Upgrade your graphics driver to the latest.

Acer-driver is proprietary - Intel mentions not to upgrade as long Acer does not provide a new one
but - works fine with HB 151 and my own simple preset
tests ok with h264 QSV and h265QSV10bit
test fails with official hardware preset as with HB 160

Your out of luck then I'm afraid.

1.6.0 requires a newer driver due to the newer Intel SDK we use. If acer are not providing that and you can't use the Intel one, your next best option is to rollback to 1.5.1

Hi, I also have this problem with a Tigerlake laptop using h.265 intel QSV. And it´s a bug since Mid november nightlys. If i set the codification level I get a job error, codification won´t start. If I leave the codification level to AUTO, all works ok.

GopRefDist 8 is too high for 1080p below level 5.0

If i set it to auto a level 4 file is created. Also with handbrake 1.5.1 and nigthlys before november, i can use level 4.1 without any problem.

Any problem if i leave it to auto? quality or bitrate is decreased versus if i set 4.1 or 5.0 level?
