What version do I need

I can't figure out which version I need to down load for my poor old MacBook.
It is on it's latest update possible. Sierra 10.12.6

Ok cool! Version 1.4.2. But there are 12 different downloads to pick from.

Nope, the DMG images are the macOS builds. You want the graphical interface, so the one *not* named HandBrakeCLI and with .dmg extension.
