LPCM are not listed as own preset?

Post by Legendarion »

I would like to use LPCM as original sound format, but which one do I use to use LPCM to be as original/default sound format before the encoding?
Unlike the other sound formats has an own preset, LPCM seems not to have one.

Will it ever be? 'Cause it was great to have that when using HandBrake on Windows 7.

While it may come in a future HandBrake release if someone is interested in developing it, it will not be made available to users on Windows 7 as we no longer support Windows 7.

LPCM is not supported unfortunaly. You can use FLAC, it has exactly same quality as PCM. If you still want to use PCM then on HandBrake don't add audio and after encoding the video put it on MKVToolNix and then add your PCM to it.
