Hi,
It is possible to pass through a 5.1 PCM soundtrack? I was looking and it the only option that I thought was correct was AC3 Dolby Digital. Now I'm not saying it sounded bad, it actually sounded very good. However, I just wanted to know if a passthrough was possible. Obviously, the bit rates for Raw PCM are much higher than Dolby Digital.
Are there any options to pass the sound from PCM as DolbyTrueHD?
There are other options too, like FLAC, would these modes keep the soundtrack in 5.1 still? But just in a high-quality lossy version?
Thanks.

Re: 5.1 PCM Passthrough? Best Options For PCM?
PCM seems like it would be the easiest to pass through, but MP4 doesn't like it, and MKV support isn't built in to handbrake. Therefore, you end up (for now at least) converting it to something that is supported.
