Handbrake Doesn't Inhibit Sleep

Post by jblagden »

Description of problem or question:
Handbrake fails to inhibit sleep. Handbrake runs, my system goes to sleep, and I come back 3-4 hours later to find out that no encodes have been completed in the time I was gone.

Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):
1) Change system & display sleep to a short amount of time like 1 minute
2) Start Handbrake encode
3) Watch system go to sleep

HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):
1.5.1

Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):
Debian 11 (Bookworm)

HandBrake Activity Log ***required*** (see How-to get an activity log)

Are you using the flatpak we publish? Do you use gnome or kde desktop?
