No audio after conversion to mpg

Description of problem or question:
Converting mvk files to mpg. Can convert video fine - but get no audio when played on a standard DVD unit. Put same DVD in to computer and play via VLC - audio just fine.




Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):
Have tried using audio 'pass though' and mp3 to no avail. Have also converted mkv to mp4 prior to converting to mpg. As noted the video portion of the files is just fine. Just on audio when played via a standard DVD player. Audio is just fine when played via VLC on computer.

1.3.3



Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):
OSX 10.13.6

HandBrake can't create an mpeg program stream or transport stream file, it can create only mp4, mkv, and webm.
