subtitle

Description of problem or question:
so i have my softsub i want to just stick it with video so sometimes i can read the subtitle and watch the video at the same time. The fonts and the color originally i have is pink and arial black. But then after the add the subtitle and put it in default which i normally do, it just black color and basic fonts. How do i fix that problem? thank you

Without the required activity log to show what you are doing now, it is hard to make even wild guesses at how to fix it.

You've asked handbrake to pass through the two SSA subtitle tracks on this encode, so what you see depends entirely upon your player. If you have handbrake burn one of them in, you would see the results of handbrake's SSA renderer (it's actually pretty good), which may be what you had before.

thank you i was trying to get the soft sub work but unfortunately it does not, vlc does work with the softsub with different fonts and colors but when i went through the default option in handbrake into my quicktime player it doesnt work..

VLC should make use of the font files in the MKV file, but other players may not. SSA subtitles are much more complex than SRT, but some players treat them as the same thing.
