Searching for a Custom Setting...

Post by Kyruss »

Hello,

I am looking for the following Option or the possibility of a Custom Preset:

I want to have the same passthru for video as for audio. I found this option in Audio. But not directly for video.
I would like to leave video and audio untouched in terms of quality.
In addition I want to have the subtitles burned into the resulting file.
There is a other program that does directly make MKVs, but it dosn't have the option for subtitles.

Is this possible with Handbrake?

No, it's not possible, HandBrake does not support video passthru. Furthermore, burning subtitles requires the video to be re-encoded.

Hello,

Thank you for the feedback and clarification. I wasn't aware of it that way.

If you are on Windows, VideoRedo is a muxer that has a free trial.
