HandBrake detects a 60 FPS video in 24 FPS, how do I fix this?

Post by Piipperi »

Description of problem or question:
I have a video (encoded in VP8, constant 60.119 FPS) but HandBrake shows it as a 23.976 FPS video. I can force it to 60 FPS but it can cause problems sometimes...

Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):

HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):
1.3.3

Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):
macOS 11.0

HandBrake Activity Log ***required*** (see How-to get an activity log)
Couldn't find the activity log

Please replace this text with the contents of your log file between the two code tags - OR - provide a pastebin URL in place of these 3 lines.

Without the activity log, which should still be on your system if the encode was done in the last 30 days, we do not know what handbrake saw or what settings you used.

If we don't know what you did, we can't help you fix it.
