While transcoding an anime series (Soul Eater) from my Blu-rays, I noticed that the automatic settings would sometimes crop 2px from the bottom and right, taking a 1920x1080 input and making it 1918x1078 as an output. I'm going to go back and transcode everything again, but I was wondering why it did that and what the best settings would be to preserve the original aspect ratio. I tried changing the settings to loose, but then it said that it was a 1922x1080 source. It thinks the PAR is 1233x1232, could that be right? Should it really be cropping?
