Impossible to add externat subtiles

Description of problem or question:
I have a mp4 file, a srt file, in vlc subtiles are ok but when i try to reencode the file with handbrake and add those external subtiles, they dont appear on the final video (even i can see them as avalaible in subtitles in vlc)
I tried every option (burn in, default...) any idea ?

Thanx, as i didnt have any HB Log because I had only run a preview, i just tried to encode a few minuts and suprise, subtitles are present and ok
So it means they just don't appear on preview's which is a pity because that's the purpose of a preview to check that all is OK before running a full encoding. So thx anyway.

The preview is for checking things like cropping and various video settings.

When you want to test the "final product", just run a short encode (no need to encode an entire video), and check that.
