Handbrake stops at 99% every time.

Post by quackyman »

Description of problem or question:

Handbrake stops at 99% every time. Will not do batches because of this. Finished file is good and useable, but can only complete one file at a time.

Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):

Tried input/output many types of formats and uninstall/reinstall handbrake. Installed new V1.3.3 and same problem.

HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):

V1.2.2 and V1.3.3.

Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):

HP Pavillion All-In_One, 12G RAM, 64 bit
Windows 10 Home V1903, OS Build 18362.900 - 8/29/2019

Whatever action to set in Settings for "when done" is not completing.

Set to "Do nothing" default. Never changed and always completed before V1.2.2.

# Sending output file to: System.Diagnostics.ProcessStartInfo, with arguments: "C:\Users\carlc\Desktop\Smeagol\Ancient_Aliens\S05E02_Aliens_And_Cover-Ups.mp4"
But the log disagrees.

Yes, the file does complete and is viewable. But Handbrake does not move past 99% or start next file in queue. This may be obvious to some, but I can't seem to figure out why...

Try changing it to something else, then back to "do nothing"?

See the When Done option in preferences. It's separate from the system action drop down.

Tried a couple settings under "When Done:". Still stops at 99%. -Seems Handbrake doesn't realize that it is done...?

It's not any of the when done options that's firing here.

It's the Send File To feature in Preferences that's triggering. (Tools Menu -> Preferences -> When Done -> Disable "Send file to"

THANK YOU so much s55!!! This seems to have worked! I've been dealing with one file at a time for over a year now. And to be so simple as unchecking a box... (Duh) I'm running a queue now with several files and it's working. You have my sincerest gratitude!
