Reorder/Delete Chapters

Reorder/Delete Chapters
Hello - I have had old super8films converted to DVD. As we didn't know what was on the old reels...the current chapter order is not chronological
& there are a couple segments where the film is so overexposed...
I would like to reorder the chapters before converting to an mp4 to share with the family. I can't seem to figure it out

Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):

Version1.3.2 (2020050300):

Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):
Windows 10

Re: Reorder/Delete Chapters

Post by BradleyS »

My recommendation would be to make an MKV file of the DVD using MakeMKV, then use MKVToolNix to split by chapters into individual files, then use it again to recombine into the order you want, then use HandBrake to encode to MP4.

HandBrake can also encode individual chapters, but cannot combine/reorder them. See the range controls at the top of the main window.
