I tried encoding the video as MPEG-4 and MPEG-2, but it doesn't play on my DVD player.
It's a new, but cheap, DVD player. It has the MPEG-4 logo on the cover, and AFAIK all DVD players support MPEG-2.
What am I doing wrong?
HandBrake version 1.3.2:
Windows 10 Home version 1709
HandBrake Activity Log ***required*** (see
How-to get an activity log )
Code: Select all
MPEG-4 log: https://pastebin.com/ZUZh2DzT
MPEG-2 log: https://pastebin.com/z9qgd4Xk

DVD players almost universally expect DVDs, with their required file structure, to be inserted, not just "playable files".
You need DVD authoring software, or you could just purchase a media player that can handle many more formats.
