But the scan log shows that handbrake found letterboxing on the samples, and set up crop values to match.
[16:55:46] scan: 10 previews, 1920x1080, 60.000 fps, autocrop = 20/204/0/54, aspect 16:9, PAR 1:1
If the black bars are important, then you'll have to turn off autocrop and set the crop values to zeros.

Code: Select all

[16:55:46] scan: 10 previews, 1920x1080, 60.000 fps, autocrop = 20/204/0/54, aspect 16:9, PAR 1:1

 [18:04:58] + source: 1920 * 1080, crop (20/204/0/54): 1866 * 856, scale: 1920 * 1080
HB found black bars on 3 sides of the image, and you selected for HB to crop them off (the default), so it did.

If you want the black bars, or if they're misdetected, manually set the cropping to 0 on all sides.

Is there a reason you're using custom anamorphic?

Custom cropping, not custom anamorphic.

Anamorphic should be none.

In your screen shot, the box next to "Anamorphic" to either "None" (don't use it) or "Automatic" (use whatever the source has). The settings for cropping are OK.

Width should be 1920 like the source; the keep aspect ratio should change the Height to 1080.
