Hi folks,
I've been using MakeMKV and Handbrake successfully for years but in the last months or so run into a problem where Handbrake simply fails to encode. MakeMKV spits out the .m4v as always but when i feed it into Handbrake i pretty quickly get a 'failed to encode' error.
My current HandBrake version is 1.3.1 (2020010400). I using a Mac Mini (2018) with macOS Catalina 10.15.2.
Here's a patebin link to the log file: https://pastebin.com/RBbVhbgC
Hopefully I've provided enough information. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
fastAG

It's having trouble creating the output file.
Make sure /Volumes/homes/plex/Media/Movies/ exists and is writable.

Re: HELP: Encoding MakeMKV output no longer works
Thanks for the quick reply Rodeo. I'm ripping it directly to a Synology network drive. It's odd that the user I have set up for this would no longer have access. In any case, I tried connecting as admin and now it's working just fine. I'll have to figure out happened with the user permissions on the synology.
thanks again for you help!

Re: HELP: Encoding MakeMKV output no longer works
Synology lets you set up per-user quotas, so it might be that the user had reached that limit.

@woodstock
I just checked and I don't have quotas set for any of the user accounts. So it's still a mystery.
